This has been an interesting campaign season so far to say the least. With a virtual three way tie at the moment there are going to be two losing sides this time, maybe even three? The big losers in this is ultimately us and deservedly so. Each side displaying a dyslexia of facts and realities and one in the middle poking both of their left eyes out. The Larry, Curly and Moe of our future presidency and the driver of the karma bus.
Like I said there will be some losers in this great escape that we always try to vote in instead of work in. That grand self-righteousness of being the "winner" in this one is not going to please a good deal of your fellow citizens. There will be violence of that I am sure, there will be all manner of brouhaha and litigation's, accusations and fraud. That will be the bus backing up by the way...I like that tune, appropriate. The Bus, The Bus, The Bus! Is on fire!
In the end though when the driver is passing around all of the wondrous effects of their particular busses, the Karma and Dogma, the requisite action of the nature and nurture of We the People will be told. You see there is going to be not one party divided, but two, and people really have been known to carry a grudge when it comes to politics. I hope all of the voters out there realize that this election more than any on our history could undo the very fabric, could just cut the very shit that makes us US. I know what rhetoric means, I feel people's emotions in their written words and it scares the hell out of me. I see the written words I deem unworthy and lies and it scares the hell out of me. I am freaking pissed... Not my style, but there is much wrong with this one. Way too much Karma and not enough room to run.
I am still going with Hilary at this time. As I see it she is the only one with enough ability and knowledge to keep this country together. We are and have been going through a Y'uge change that will not stop with any election result. The things that can and will happen in any event will still depend on us, all of us, because it's going to still be a mess. There will be requisite actions though, and fallout from the war of the no'ses. I am going to stick with the fallout on the left, I have no will whatsoever to even write anything on the right. It is a useless and tireless endeavor deserving no more press than it has already received.
So this just leaves Bernie and Hilary on the left. There will be no unity either before or after the election in my eyes. The overriding theme going is we just needed to spread the hate from two sides doing the good ol hating, to three sides working each other over. In this age of acceptance we have ourselves an old fashioned menage a' trois, the marriage counselor jumping smack dab into the fray.
Sanders and his supporters are mostly new to this arena, they do not have the experience of a loss, nor an elation at a win. Their rhetoric will not be forgotten, their demeanor will not be forgotten, their platform... Bernie messed up huge. Now that we have divided the left, exactly as the right wanted it from the get go, there is going to be hell to pay, not just now, but pretty much forever.
So how to go forward in this is also new. Democrats can take a winner or loser amongst themselves, the Obama/Clinton campaign a good example. Folks are not as likely to look at this as an amongst themselves issue this time now are they? The scorched Earth styles of both Sanders and the right is going to leave a lot of animosity for a very long time. Not saying Clinton hasn't made mistakes, but this willful torching of the "establishment" is going to leave many homeless too... This is careless disregard for the country, this is selfishness. So in any veiled or covert animosity going forward the Sanders supporters and the other guys are one in the same. The Ponzi scheme of the right, and the gaslighting of the left by their respective good ol boys is not going to be forgotten. Those liberal "friends" will be hearing "not so much," "See ya around!" The snarky and well written replies will be aimed smack dab at each other on the left, that is just the beginning. The Bernie bumper sticker will cause eyes to roll and ire to rise in even the most liberal haven. There will be heads rolling, not in the establishment but right at home, and right at the heart. This is a circus and people are tired of seeing the ringmaster's acts, tired of paying admission for this. Hell, bring in the flaming bus right? At least we can watch the tent burn. Yeah, I'm feeling the burn.
If we really wish to take the proper requisite action before it is too late, their needs to be a change in another establishment. If people want to make an impact in this race before it simply turns into - more - fisticuffs, then we have to take our fight somewhere else. We shouldn't be protesting the candidates at their rallies, or attacking any side right now. The action needed is to protest the media companies causing much of this, picket the big outlets and the smaller locals. Make sure that those that cover this, the biggest social engineering act every four years, do so with better integrity, pride and fairness. Make sure that this pumped up popularity is not the news creating the news again, that the merits and failures of all are equally covered. Make sure that the drumbeats of political rhetoric do not become the drumbeat made even bigger than they are by the actions of this window we depend on.
Just as in anything else there will be repercussions from this circus and bus crash. Likewise just as politicians are feeling the heat from the people once more, and the calls for a change to the big establishment. The media should also get a big wake up call as well. History has been a good teacher in these things human and political and we are in for a ride to be sure. When it comes time to pay back that hell, I will have no regrets, I will have a clear conscience. I will remember all of this and may just draw you closer, not because we are friends either. Rather because it is the very well earned requisite action.
